The Russian invaders reported on the “oath” of the first children in the cells of the Yunarmiya children’s military movement, which they created in the temporarily occupied territories, the activities of which are supervised by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
This was reported today, February 26, on the website of the Center for National Resistance.
Note that the “Yunarmiya” was created in the image of the Hitler Youth in Nazi Germany and is formed voluntarily forcibly from teenagers. Members of the movement who have reached the age of majority become the first in line for conscription into the Russian army, the CNS notes.
The CNS recalls that in Russia there have been repeated calls to use teenagers in hostilities.
The Center for National Resistance urges parents not to send their children to the Kremlin’s military movements, because it is about their future.
In November 2022, the CNS reported on the creation of the first cells of the “Yunarmiya” in the occupied territories of the South of Ukraine:
- in Genichesk, Kherson region, where the Russian Seraphim Ivanov is responsible for the militarization of children, whom the invaders brought to Ukraine from St. Petersburg for this purpose;
- in Melitopol, Zaporozhye region, where the so-called rector of the Melitopol State University Andriy Chuikov became the leader. The invaders placed this cell in one of the premises of the Makarenko Pedagogical University.
Recall that by the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Rashists also created cells of the “Yunarmiya” and similar children’s movements in the occupied Crimea. In particular, in 2020, a children’s military parade was held in Yalta.
