The head of state removed Eduard Moskalev from the post of OS commander almost a year after his appointment.
President Volodymyr Zelensky on Sunday, February 26, fired the commander of the Joint Forces, Eduard Moskalev. The corresponding order is published on the President’s website.
“Dismiss Eduard Mikhailovich Moskalev from the post of commander of the Joint Forces,” the order said.
The reasons for the resignation were not specified.
It should be noted that on March 15, 2022, Zelensky appointed Major General Eduard Moskalev as the commander of the JFO.
Prior to that, Moskalev was Chief of Staff – First Deputy Commander of the Operational Command Vostok of the Ground Forces of Ukraine and Deputy Commander of the Joint Forces.
Earlier, Zelensky fired the deputy commander of the National Guard, Ruslan Dzyuba.
