Russian carriers of Caliber cruise missiles are absent from the Black Sea as of Sunday morning, February 26.
The aggressor country did not withdraw a single launch vehicle into the Black Sea because of the storm. Yesterday, one carrier of enemy missiles was on duty at sea, but in the evening he was brought to his base. The head of the Joint Coordinating Press Center of the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, Natalya Gumenyuk, stated this on the air of the telethon.
However, the threat of missile attacks still remains, because it takes only a few hours to prepare and launch launch vehicles into the sea. And now, according to Gumenyuk, the enemy is using the tactics of lulling vigilance.
They are trying to exhaust the psychology and psyche of our population with constant shelling, air activity, and then they can suddenly strike,” she said.
Gumenyuk added that enemy ships are pressing closer to the Eastern coast of Crimea. Rocket launchers and other combat vessels are moving farther and farther away from the Ukrainian-controlled coast, because they are afraid of long-range weapons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Recall that on February 25, nine enemy ships were in the Black Sea, among which was one carrier of Caliber cruise missiles with a total salvo of eight missiles.
