A Russian woman living in Brazil, together with her friend, pasted posters on the wall of the Russian consulate. The employee of the diplomatic department did not like this and attacked him.
In Rio de Janeiro, a woman pasted anti-war posters on the wall of a Russian diplomatic mission. An employee of the Russian consulate who came out from behind the fence hit him and tried to take the phone away, according to the Brazilian edition of Otempo.
It was noted that the incident occurred on the anniversary of the Russian Federation’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, February 24.
A Russian woman living in Brazil, together with her friend, pasted posters on the wall of the Russian diplomatic mission in Russian, Portuguese and English. In particular, they have the inscriptions “Stop the war” and “Putin, hell awaits you.”
During this action, a consular officer came out, tore the papers from the woman’s hands, demanded her mobile phone and slapped her on the back.
Two police officers who were nearby intervened in the fight. They suggested that the victim file a complaint with the police about causing bodily harm.
“The victim, the witness and the perpetrator are citizens of Russia. The woman has been sent for a forensic medical examination. Operational search measures are ongoing to clarify the circumstances,” the police said.
The incident record indicates that the attack on a woman near the Russian consulate was carried out by a 59-year-old diplomat.
The Russian consulate declined to comment on the incident.
