Volodymyr Zelensky burst into an angry speech at the question of a Channel 5 journalist about the former head of the SBU Ivan Bakanov and calming the population on the eve of February 24, 2022.
This question was asked to the President by Channel 5 journalist Anna Rybalko.
However, the organizers of the event did not let her finish. When asked the president about the responsibility that the ex-head of the SBU should bear, she was excluded from the microphone. Before that, she managed to ask a question about the decision of the OP not to inform the Ukrainians about a possible Russian invasion.
I think I was here on the 24th. And I think it is important that we have not lost the state. Yes, this is thanks to the people of Ukraine and thanks to our Armed Forces. Probably a little and thanks to me, no matter how unpleasant it is for you to hear. Many people think so. Of course, not all. And I’m no hero. But I must have done something, since we’re here, the President replied.
Zelensky did not answer the questions of the journalist.
We will win with this already as we are president. But with what happened, we didn’t win,” Zelensky said, referring to Poroshenko and the Minsk agreements signed in 2015.
He also said that he joined in the expulsion of Russians from the Verkhovna Rada and oligarchs from Ukrainian society. At the same time, Zelensky said that among the oligarchs is the owner of Channel 5.
