The aggressor country, the Russian Federation, lost about 147 thousand soldiers, officers and mercenaries during the year of a full-scale war with Ukraine.
Only in the past day, on February 23, 970 occupiers were liquidated. Also, 13 tanks, seven armored personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles, 11 artillery systems, three MLRS installations, three air defense systems, and 10 vehicles were destroyed. Four drones were also shot down. This was reported on February 24 at the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to February 24, 2023 were approximately:
- personnel – about 146 thousand 820 (+970) people liquidated,
- tanks – 3 thousand 363 (+13) units,
- armored fighting vehicles – 6 thousand 600 (+7) units,
- artillery systems – 2 thousand 363 (+11) units,
- MLRS – 474 (+3) units,
- air defense systems – 247 (+3) units,
- aircraft – 299 (+0) units,
- helicopters – 287 (+0) units,
- UAVs of the operational-tactical level – 2 thousand 33 (+4),
- cruise missiles – 873 (+0),
- ships/boats – 18 (+0) units,
- automotive equipment and tankers – 5 thousand 224 (+9) units,
- special equipment – 229 (+1).
Recall that on February 22, in the area of Vogledar and Marinka in the Donetsk region, Ukrainian troops on February 22 destroyed 14 tanks, 17 infantry fighting vehicles and three MT-LB light armored vehicles. Also in one day, the enemy lost more than 120 soldiers killed and 137 wounded.
