National security adviser Joe Biden reacted to China’s “peace plan” to end the war in Ukraine.
The White House commented on the Chinese version of the “peace plan” for Ukraine. US national security adviser Jake Sullivan said China could focus on the first point, namely respect for the sovereignty of all countries, CNN reported.
“Well, that’s my first reaction to this[ang planong pangkapayapaan ng China]they can stop at the first point, which is respect for the sovereignty of all countries,” he said.
According to Sullivan, the war in Ukraine “could end tomorrow” if Russia stops attacking Ukraine and withdraws its troops.
“Ukraine did not attack Russia, NATO did not attack Russia, the United States did not attack Russia. It was a war of choice that Putin started,” the US national security adviser emphasized.
It will be remembered that on the anniversary of Russia’s massive invasion of Ukraine, on February 24, China published its own version of the “peace plan” to resolve the war on the territory of Ukraine.
Earlier, Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang said the war in Ukraine was “getting out of control.”
