President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed Ukrainians on the anniversary of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine.
The head of state stressed that the Ukrainians managed to survive the year of the great war, did not lose in it and would continue to fight for their victory over the Russian enemy. The corresponding video message from Zelensky appeared on YouTube.
On February 24, millions of us made a choice: not a white flag, but a blue and yellow flag. Not an escape, but a meeting. Enemy meeting. Resistance and struggle,” the president said.
Zelensky noted that 2022 was a year of pain, regret, faith and unity. He also expressed confidence that 2023 will be the year of victory for Ukrainians over the Russian occupiers.
The head of state stressed that Ukraine will withstand threats, shelling, cluster bombs, cruise missiles, kamikaze drones, blackout, cold, because Ukrainians are stronger than this.
General Valery Zaluzhny also addressed the Ukrainians and thanked the defenders who have been defending their native land for nine years.
On the anniversary of the Russian invasion, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that the basis of Ukraine’s stability is its people, who took up arms to protect their loved ones, their homes, their country.
During the nine years of the war, we have become stronger than concrete and steel, because we remember examples of the invincibility of the defenders of DAPA and Azovstal,” he stressed.
Recall that the Financial Times has learned that the President of the aggressor country, Vladimir Putin, was preparing a full-scale invasion of Ukraine secretly from his entourage. With his decision, the dictator aroused dissatisfaction among the oligarchic elites.
