Polish leader Andrzej Duda convenes a meeting of the National Security Council on the anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Poland’s National Security Bureau reported it on Twitter.
“The President of Poland on Friday, February 24, at 12:00 pm is meeting with the National Security Council. The current state security conclusions related to Russia’s aggression in Ukraine will also be discussed in the context of consultations between of the Presidents of Poland and the United States and the B9 summit,” the report said.
Earlier, Duda said that Poland has prepared Leopard 2 tanks for shipment to Ukraine. They are planned to be delivered within a month.
Poland is also considering the transfer of MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine and, in the event of a coalition for the transfer of F-16 fighters, is ready to join it.
