Mobilization in Russia may gain momentum, so new waves are not ruled out.
Russian President Vladimir Putin is not ready for peace talks with Ukraine and will continue to try to achieve military success, relying on numerical superiority. In order to turn the tide at the front, Moscow is ready to make even greater sacrifices. The head of the German Federal Intelligence Service (BND), Bruno Kahl, said this in an interview with Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland.
According to him, more than 300,000 Russians already mobilized may not be enough to win in Ukraine, so the Kremlin can send another million people to the war.
Russia’s further mobilization potential is a reserve of up to a million people, if the Kremlin deems it necessary, Kahl said.
Recall that the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine stated that a new wave of mobilization in Russia could spread to students of higher educational institutions of full-time education. To do this, Russia is creating so-called “alert stations” that will assist military registration and enlistment offices in handing subpoenas to full-time students.
