The positions of deputy ministers in the defense department were given to Vitaly Deinega and Andriy Shevchenko.

The Cabinet of Ministers appointed two new Deputy Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov. The government announced this on Telegram on Tuesday, February 21.

So, today at the meeting, an order was adopted on the appointment of:

  • Vitaly Deinega, Head of the Come Back Alive Charitable Foundation, Deputy Minister of Defense for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalization;

  • former citizen representative and former ambassador to Canada Andriy Shevchenko – Deputy Minister of Defense for European Integration.

Recall that on February 14, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Lieutenant General Alexander Pavlyuk as Reznikov’s first deputy.

As you know, in January there was a scandal over the purchase of products by the Ministry of Defense at an inflated price. As a result, the Rada began to talk about the possible dismissal of Aleksey Reznikov, but this was not done.
