Recovery Army workers received UAH 40 million from the state for their socially beneficial work. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
“Since the beginning of this year, almost 3,000 unemployed people have been recruited into the Recovery Army to perform community service. starting its launch in autumn 2022, almost 6.5 thousand unemployed people have received from the state payment for implementation of restoration work at a total cost of UAH 40 million,” said Deputy Economy Minister Tatyana Berezhnaya.

Residents of Poltava (2018 people), Kyiv (1099 people), Sumy (1064 people) and Donetsk (938 people) are the most active in the Recovery Army.
Most of the time, the Recovery Army works on removing rubble and repairing residential buildings damaged as a result of the fighting, repairing basements for shelters, packing aid that humanitarian, preparing food for the military, weaving camouflage nets, and providing social services at impregnable points.
