Kadyrov’s private military company could be built after his civil service.
The leader of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, is planning to create his own private military company (PMC) after completing his public service job. He announced this on the Telegram channel on Sunday, February 19.
According to the Chechen leader, he intends to “compete” with the head of the PMC Wagner Yevgeny Prigozhin, whose private military company, in his words, “hard-wired proved its military effectiveness and drew a line under the conversation about the need for PMCs.”
“Without any doubts, this kind of professional formations are necessary and necessary. Therefore, when I finish my work in the civil service, I seriously plan to compete with our dear brother Yevgeny Prigozhin and create a private military company. I think everything will work out,” Kadyrov wrote.
Recall that earlier the United States imposed new sanctions against PMCs Wagner and declared it a transnational criminal organization.
The Verkhovna Rada recognized the PMCs Wagner international criminal organization.
