Ukrainian border guards repelled a dozen enemy attacks on the eastern front.
Seven attacks of the occupiers were stopped in the hottest direction – Bakhumt. In total, approximately 40 invaders were destroyed, another 37 invaders were injured. For individual tactical episodes, the losses of the enemy are specified. This was reported on February 19 by the State Border Service Facebook.
It is noted that in some areas the Russians acted with the support of tanks. Most of the attacks were stopped by mortars-border guards and artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And in the suburban area of Bakhmut, the Ukrainian military eliminated small infantry groups of Russians from small arms and grenade launchers.
Thus, all attempts to storm the invaders were restrained.
Recall, on 11 GNSU reported that several hostile groups tried to quietly approach the assault on the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces near Bakhmut. The maneuver was noticed by aerial reconnaissance, and the mortar guards destroyed these groups.
