The Russian invaders had problems with the logistics of their units.
This was reported today, February 19, in the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
So, due to the premature failure of the upgraded S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems and the inability to quickly deliver combat components and carry out routine maintenance of equipment in combat conditions, air defense systems have to be sent to manufacturing plants in Russia, the report says.
In addition, according to the information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in the temporarily occupied Crimea, relatives of those mobilized en masse apply to the Russian Ministry of Defense because of the violation of the rights of servicemen. The main reasons were:
- lack of rotations and vacations for more than six months and any prospects for them in the next two to three months;
- poor nutrition and hygienic conditions, for which relatives are forced to constantly send them food and personal belongings;
- the use by officers of the Russian occupation forces of their official position for their own enrichment – privates and sergeants are offered short-term vacations for a bribe of 1 thousand dollars.
It is noted that the Russian Ministry of Defense does not respond to the relevant appeals of citizens.
