Rihanna recently dismissed criticism she received online for calling her son “good.”
On Wednesday, the singer shared a slideshow of photos from her photo shoot for the March 2023 issue of British Vogue on Instagram. She appears on the cover of the magazine with her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, and their 9-month-old son.
“My son so good! I don’t know, I don’t know! Rihanna captioned the post with her sweet baby. She added that she had no idea she was pregnant again during filming. The Grammy winner confirmed she is expecting her second child after her stunning Super Bowl halftime performance last weekend.
But some commenters felt uncomfortable with Rihanna referring to the little one as “good”.

“LAUGH [I know] you didn’t just say ‘okay,’” one Instagram user wrote, according to screenshots captured by BuzzFeed.
“AF [As Fuck]” Rihanna said in response, dubbing her caption.
Another critic tried to correct the ‘Lift Me Up’ singer in the comments section, writing ‘Ok?! Pretty cute, adorable…not a grown man…lol”.
“Keep your little cougar feet away from him and we’re good to go!” Rihanna responded as reported by BuzzFeed.
Rihanna slammed another Instagram user who wrote: “Who says good to a child?”
“His mother!!!” The singer would answer.
Rihanna received support in this regard from fans on social media. His supporters slammed the Bajan singer’s critics, arguing that many in the Caribbean often use the word “end” in non-sexual ways.
“Americans, please rest in the name of Jesus. God! He’s from the Caribbean, Africa, we even tell the kids ‘look at a good boy,’” on Twitter the user wrote. “Stop sexualizing everything!!”
In her interview with British Vogue, Rihanna described her first two months as a mother as “legendary”. However, the singer and A$AP Rocky have yet to publicly reveal their son’s name.
“That’s it. You really don’t remember your life before, it’s the craziest thing ever,” she said. you like them, everything. , you just don’t identify with her because you can’t even mentally allow yourself to go that far, because… because it doesn’t matter.”
