Kirby noted that after months of fighting in the past few days, the Wagnerites had achieved “victories” in Bakhmut at “a devastating price”.
“Perhaps in the end they will succeed in Bakhmut, but it will not bring them any real benefit, because there is no real strategic value,” he added.
