The first group of Ukrainian military personnel was trained at an American base in Germany. This was announced on Friday, February 17, by Pentagon spokesman Pat Ryder, CNN reports.
According to him, the first group of 635 Ukrainians has completed their training at the Grafenwöhr training ground. Among other things, the Ukrainian battalion also trained on the Bradley infantry fighting vehicle.
Currently, the second group of 710 Ukrainian troops is working on a five-week course that will train the troops in maneuvers, medical and basic training of soldiers. In addition, another 890 Ukrainian servicemen will begin training in Stryker combat vehicles next week.
