Russian war criminals launched an artillery strike on Bakhmut – they hit a residential area. As a result, five people died. This was reported by the Office of the Attorney General (OGP) on its Facebook page on Thursday, February 16.
“Russian troops opened fire on Bakhmut with cannon artillery and a Grad multiple launch rocket system,” the statement said.
Invaders’ shells again hit a residential area of the city, added the UCP.
“Three men and two women died from the attack by the Russian army. Nine citizens received shrapnel wounds of varying severity,” law enforcement officials added.
As a result of the attack, many residential buildings were damaged.
The invaders continue to take the city, says the UCP.
As already reported, the National Guard shot down an enemy Mi-24 helicopter near Bakhmut.
