“Their generals, their analysts, their general staff assessed how the Ukrainian Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the security and defense sector as a whole, are conducting combat operations, forces, or commands. operations, and what are the consequences from the point of view of successes, ”Reznikov said.
He also mentioned that so -called combat testing of Western partners ’weapons in modern warfare is currently underway.
“In the past 80 years, this is the first open war when the regular armed forces of the two countries have participated in it. All the other armed conflicts that you bring up are somewhere either terrorists or some kind of rebels, the fall of the government, etc. ” – said the Minister of Defense.
Reznikov noted that in this case, for the first time, the country’s regular army invaded another country. This happens with the use of all forces and means: aircraft, artillery, ballistic cruise missiles, chemical weapons, and so on.
“Therefore, for Western partners, I am convinced that this is also an interesting moment – how their weapons will work in one way or another,” Reznikov stressed.
The Minister of Defense noted that Ukrainian troops have already demonstrated how to adapt Western light weapons and, using jeeps and trucks, destroy tanks in mobile groups.
Recall that the defense ministers of 40 countries in the world during a meeting at the base of the German Ramstein made a strategic decision on the transfer of the Ukrainian army to Western caliber and equipment.
