State Concern “Ukroboronprom” presented the first product of joint production with one of the NATO member countries – 120-mm mortar mines.
Soon these mines will go to the front for the needs of the defense forces. The speaker of Ukroboronprom, Natalya Sad, told the briefing about this time, the Ukrinform agency reports.
The name of the country involved in the production of these mines has not been disclosed, this information will become public after the war.
Sad notes that 120-mm mines are one of the most sought-after ammunition for Ukrainian artillery. It strikes targets from a mortar at a distance of up to 8 km, the radius of destruction is from 25 to 60 m, with fragments flying within a radius of up to 250 m.
It is noted that these mines are produced using modern technologies.
The appearance of this mine is work exclusively for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, however, after the end of the war, we can say that, I am convinced, we will also talk about meeting the needs of the troops of our allies,” Sad said.
Soon, Ukroboronprom will demonstrate other products made jointly with partner countries.
We have been reaching agreements for a long time, developing a schedule for the implementation of these agreements, and finally we can show what this cooperation looks like in practice,” Sade notes.
