After the de-occupation of Crimea, the authorities will need about 50,000 employees on the peninsula.

Tamila Tasheva, Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, made a corresponding statement at the briefing.

For example, to ensure the manageability of the situation in the liberated territory, we must create at least local military or military-civilian administrations. Such administrations should work right on the spot. To ensure the fulfillment of tasks, for example, the State Border Service needs an additional 5 thousand employees, the National Police – about 7.2 thousand, the State Emergency Service – about 3 thousand, the National Guard – 12.5 thousand, the State Migration Service – more than 300, the prosecutor’s office – about 550, the State Bureau of Investigation – 300 employees, – Tasheva said at a briefing in Kiev on February 13.

Only in the vertical of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and these are border guards, rescuers, police officers and National Guardsmen, we are talking about the need to form reserves with a total number of 27.7 thousand people and create reserves for spending more than UAH 5 billion from the state budget.

And then there are employees of other law enforcement and judicial bodies, civil servants, employees of local governments and many others. It is worth considering how these people will work, where to place them, how to provide them. Even before the liberation of the territory, we calculate the needs and capabilities of the state in a war. We are trying to highlight what will certainly be required, and what at first it will be possible to block by attracting personnel from other regions. Where people need to be taught, and where higher education and knowledge of Ukrainian will be enough, and so on,” Tasheva said.
