The meeting of the contact group on the defense of Ukraine will be held at the NATO headquarters in Brussels on February 14.
The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov went to the ninth meeting in the Ramstein format and announced the main issues on the agenda. He wrote this on Facebook on Monday, February 13.
“I went to the next meeting in the Ramstein format. I have the honor for the ninth time to lead a joint team of representatives of the Ministry of Defense, intelligence, the General Staff and our diplomats, who will work intensively with partners in the coming days. The pace is very high,” he said.
According to the minister, the main issues on the agenda are:

protection of the Ukrainian sky, including through the participation of an aviation platform;

the formation of a “tank coalition”;

developing a margin of safety for bullets;

training programs for Ukrainian soldiers; support stability (logistics, maintenance, repair, practical implementation of “Military Schengen”).
“The day before, there were a number of talks with partners – their participation and support gives optimism. Everything will be Ukraine! ” Reznikov assured.
As reported, a meeting of the Contact Group on the Defense of Ukraine, organized by the United States, will be held at the NATO headquarters in Brussels on February 14.
Earlier, the Office of the President said that Rammstein-9 would be “aviation”. Also, the adviser to the head of the OP, Mikhail Podolyak, said that the issue of the transfer of F-16 to Ukraine has been unblocked.
