It is learned that to date, 2.7 million people have been registered as internally displaced persons after the introduction of martial law. Approximately 500 thousand applications were received through Diya. Some of these are now being processed by social protection authorities, teams of the Ministry of Digital Development and the Ministry of Social Policy.
Also, not all applications were received by the Ministry of Social Policy from the regions. Some places send processed applications faster, others slower.
“Therefore, if you have not yet received payment, do not worry, we continue to fund the payment of living allowance to internally displaced persons for March and April to May, as we receive information from the regions. We have already transferred one tranche in May, we plan next week another direction of funding to the people, “said Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Maryna Lazebna.
As a reminder, accommodation assistance for internally displaced persons is provided for March -April in the following amounts: for people with disabilities and children – UAH 3,000, for other people – UAH 2,000.
Earlier this week, it was reported that the displaced people would receive additional payments through the UN program. This support is planned to cover nearly 500 thousand people.
