On the evening of Saturday, May 7, in the Kharkiv region, as a result of shelling, the National Literary and Memorial Museum of Grigory Skovoroda in the village of Skovorodinovka was destroyed. This was reported on the Facebook page of the Zolochev village council.
“On the eve of the war, the restoration work had just ended there, we were preparing the institution for the celebration of the tentenary of the outstanding philosopher of the world famous,” the message said.
As you know, the Skovoroda Museum is located in the village where he lived in recent years and was buried. December 2022 will mark the 300th anniversary of the philosopher’s birth.
