The aggressor country Russia and Belarus have begun simulating flights of the MiG-31K fighter, a likely carrier of the Kinzhal hypersonic missiles.
On Saturday, in Belarus, the take-off of an A-50 reconnaissance aircraft and MiG-31K fighters was recorded three times, which led to the announcement of large-scale air alerts in Ukraine. However, the last two cases had some strange coincidences. The monitoring group “Belarusian Guyun” reported this on February 11 in Telegram.
It is reported that in two cases the planes did not return to the Machulishchi airfield from which they took off.
The monitoring group noted that on February 10 in the morning a group of fighter jets arrived in Machulishchi from Baranovichi. During the day, they took off from the Machulishchi airfield, and the takeoff sound was very similar to the MiG-31K and A-50.
We believe that yesterday fighters from Baranovichi were conducting training and simulation sorties at the airfield in Machulishchi. And, probably, the goal was to simulate the takeoff of the MiG-31K during the takeoff of a standard Su-type fighter, they noted.
Gayun also stressed that it is extremely difficult to distinguish the takeoff of the Su from the MiG without visual observation.
Recall that the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that the invaders use Kh-47 Kinzhal missiles to strike at the most strategic targets for them. In particular, on January 26, the Russian occupiers attacked objects in Kyiv and Zaporozhye with these missiles.
