In Belarus, “train partisans” were sentenced to 22 years in prison

The court sentenced two citizens of Belarus to 22 years in prison and another to 1.5 years, Belarusian Gayun said.

A court in Belarus convicted three “train partisans” – two of them were sentenced to 22 years in prison. The monitoring group reported it Belarusian So in your Telegram channel.

The court’s decision states that:

  • Dmitry Klimov and Vladimir Avramtsev were sentenced to 22 years in prison;

  • Yevhen Minkevich – 1.5 years in prison.

“It became known that on the night of March 27-28, 2022, near Osipovichi, they burned a relay cabinet, shot them, they escaped, but later they were detained. Dmitry was shot in the leg during the arrest and beating, Vladimir’s face was broken, Yevgeny was also beaten,” – said the monitoring group.

It should be noted that in February and March 2022, at least 12 railway sabotage actions and two major cyber attacks were carried out in Belarus.

On Friday, February 10, 13 Belarusians were detained.

As we wrote earlier, two “train partisans” from Mazyr in Belarus were sentenced to 14 and 16 years in prison.
