There comes a difficult stage of “grinding on each other”, you have to get used to it, says the OP representative.
The war between Russia and Ukraine is entering a stage when nothing spectacular will happen, but the fighting will not stop. This was announced on Friday, May 6, by Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the Office of the President, following the results of the 72nd day of the Russian aggression.
“The war is entering a routine stage. In a few months, at least there will be an hour of minor sensations, or nothing happens at all. You have to get used to the fact that this is a very difficult stage when each other is being crushed, ”he said.
The spokesman noted that today the most successful situation on the front is developing in the Kharkov region.
“Our troops were moving north from Kharkov, liberating communities. Before that, they were moving east from Kharkov,” Arestovich explained.
At the same time, the situation in the Luhansk region is becoming more complicated, he said.
“In the area of Severodonetsk, Rubizhne and Popasnaya, the situation has become more complicated. Severodonetsk is under direct threat, Rubizhnoye is under increased threat, Popasnaya was razed to the ground, and the question of who owns its purely theoretical, ”the adviser defined.
However, in his opinion, there are also positive developments in this area: “It is not possible to surround from Izyum, nothing can be surrounded from Avdiivka. Therefore, a large triangle – Rubizhne – Avdiivka – Barvenkovo – is no longer in the plans, but the Luhansk region they are trying (get – ed.) to announce at least something before the 9th of May. “
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that so far there are no signs of the imminent end of the war in Ukraine.
