Brian Kilmid of Fox News said he doesn’t understand why the government gives important jobs to pregnant women.
On Thursday morning, Fox & Friends criticized Kilmid for setting up a new advisory committee in the Department of Homeland Security – the Disinformation Board – aimed at countering the spread of Russian and other disinformation.
Nina Yankovich, Disinformation Expert Who led the programs for the National Democratic Institute for International Relations for Russia and Belarus and advised the Ukrainian government, was appointed head of the division.
But for no apparent reason Kilmid could not understand why he was named.
“Then we’ll find out who is responsible … Nina Jankovic, who is almost eight and a half months pregnant, so I’m not sure how you can find a job and then – you can. “Don’t work for three months,” he said.
“I don’t blame him, but I don’t know why you give a job to someone you think is so important.”
Her co-host Ainsley Erhardt stepped back and asked, “How long have you been in this job?”
“About two months, I suppose,” Kilmid replied.
“Well, then I’ll defend him, Brian,” Erhardt said. “You have the right to have a child and maternity leave.
This is against the law. Discrimination based on pregnancy in any aspect of employment, including hiring, dismissal, promotion and salary.
This is Not for the first time Kilmid attacked Jankovic for taking a job during her pregnancy. “If you’re planning to take a new office, shouldn’t you need maternity leave in the first few weeks?” He said last month.
Kilmid Has a Story About Making Sexist Claims on Air. In 2012, he said Fox News took female hosts to look at Victoria’s Secret Catalog and ask, “Can any of these people speak?” 2020 “I’m not going to have sex, but he loses emotion at every public event,” he said, referring to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
