Soon, Ukraine will understand when, how and to what extent it can receive, in addition to armored vehicles, both aircraft attacks and long-range missiles.
Ukraine in 2023 will receive all the necessary equipment to end the war, including long-range missiles and ground attack aircraft, Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President, assured on the air of the Uniform News telethon.
“Both attack aircraft and long-range missiles will certainly be, but this is an option for negotiations. Europe has a full understanding that it is necessary to speed up the end of the war so that the Russia cannot be turned into a prolonged phase. Therefore, we are negotiating. They are very intense,” he said. Podolyak.
In his opinion, soon Ukraine will have an understanding of when, how and to what extent it will receive, in addition to armored vehicles, such weapons.
Answering the question of whether aviation and long-range missiles will be reliably provided by partners this year, Podolyak said:
“All necessary tools to end the war, including long-range missiles and attack aircraft, Ukraine will receive by 2023.”
At the same time, according to the adviser to the head of the Office of the President, it is not correct to ask the partners in an ultimatum form about the time of the provision of this or that weapon immediately after the process of negotiations about this or other types . of weapons only moved to the stage of forming the first decisions.
Recall that the EU authorities invited Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to a summit in Brussels to make specific decisions on the transfer of weapons. They have been accepted, said the head of the European Council, Charles Michel.
Ukraine has also decided with Western allies the issue of providing fighter jets and long-range weapons.
