In two days, four people became victims of attacks by Russian troops in the region. The prosecutor’s office launched an investigation.
As a result of the enemy attack in the Donetsk region on February 8-9, four civilians were killed and eight others were injured. The strikes, in particular, hit a church, the Attorney General’s Office said.
According to the investigation, Russian shells hit the residential areas of Bakhmut, Semenovka in Pokrovsky and Pleshcheevka in Kramatorsk districts.
“Three men and one woman were killed, seven more citizens were injured in various degrees of severity. The invaders also hit Novoekonomicheskoe from multiple rocket launch systems. The local church was at the center of the attack . Its 50-year-old caregiver was taken to the hospital with shrapnel wounds,” the prosecutor’s office said.
Due to the explosions, private houses, buildings and other facilities were damaged.
Pretrial investigations of the crimes of the Russians on the facts of violation of the laws and customs of war have already begun (parts 1, 2 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Earlier it was reported that in the past day, Russian troops have extensively shelled the border of the Kharkov region. As a result of the attacks, two people died and five were injured.
