The Verkhovna Rada appointed Klymenko as the new head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (PHOTO)

    Igor Klymenko became the new Minister of Internal Affairs.

    The corresponding personnel decision was made at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada held on Tuesday, February 7. 321 people’s deputies voted for Klymenko’s appointment. People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak wrote about this in Telegram.

    The Rada appointed Klymenko I. V. to the post of Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the report says.

    It is noted that Prime Minister Denys Shmigal represented the newly appointed head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. It was the head of the government who on February 6 submitted a corresponding proposal to the parliament.

    This morning, the Parliamentary Committee on Law Enforcement recommended the Verkhovna Rada to appoint Igor Klymenko to the post of Minister of Internal Affairs.

    Recall that Igor Klymenko was the interim head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and in front of you he headed the National Police. And about. he became a ministry after the leadership of the department, including Minister Denis Monastyrsky, died due to a helicopter crash in Brovary in the Kiev region.
