The Dnipro City Council, together with NABU, sued the airport from businessman Igor Kolomoisky.
This was announced today, on February 7, in his Telegram channel by the Mayor of Dnipro Boris Filatov.
The mayor recalled that in September 2022, the Dnipro District Administrative Court canceled the right to operate the Dnepropetrovsk airport to Galtera Kolomoisky.
However, those who understand the intricacies of jurisprudence, especially in our country, and even more especially – in the “jurisprudence” of Igor Valerievich, were full of skepticism about this result. Then everyone said that you need to wait for an appeal before the decision comes into force, – said Filatov.
Now – after all the litigation, the “diseases” of the judges themselves, numerous postponements of meetings and other strange miracles, we won this case, he added.
Filatov added that consideration of this issue in the cassation court is still expected.
And although there is still a cassation court ahead, I am convinced that our airfield has already been torn out of its hands, – said the mayor of Dnipro. — And after the Ukrainian Victory, low-cost carriers will finally come here, so that Dnipro residents and everyone who wants to will be able to fly abroad at reasonable prices.
Fiatov also thanked the state bodies that helped defend the City Council’s position on this issue.
Thanks to NABU that they were the only ones among the government agencies who reacted to the situation and helped the city council fight for the interests of all citizens,” he said. – And also gratitude to the State Aviation Service for its principled position, which without NABU might not have been so principled :)).
