After the helicopter crash in Brovary, in which the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs died, all Airbus 225 helicopters remained at the airports, they were examined by specialists. It is reported by acting. Interior Minister Igor Klymenko on the telethon air.
“Airbus 225 helicopters, one of which crashed in Brovary, are currently at the airports, the relevant specialists are working. We are checking all the helicopters that are in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs,” said Klymenko.
He added that the verification of the helicopters will take about two months until their safety is confirmed.
At this time, managers can only use vehicles.
“We are now prohibiting the leaders from traveling by helicopter, only by road, until the investigation is over and we do not know the exact cause of this crash,” he added.
Earlier it was reported that the SBU was considering several main versions of the tragedy: violation of flight rules (pilot error), technical malfunction of the helicopter, sabotage.
It will be remembered that on January 18, a helicopter crashed on the territory of a kindergarten in Brovary.
The highest leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, including Minister Denis Monastyrsky, was in the helicopter – all passengers died.
At the helicopter crash site, 14 dead were found, including a child. In addition, 25 people were injured.
