Training of Ukrainian military personnel in handling German artillery weapons could begin next week in Germany.
The German Defense Ministry has confirmed its intention to provide seven self-propelled howitzers to Ukraine. This was reported by Reuters.
German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht specified that these were additional deliveries to the five howitzers previously promised by the Netherlands.
It was reported that the training of Ukrainian troops in handling German artillery weapons could begin next week in Germany.
Recall, earlier it was reported that the German government decided to provide Ukraine with seven Panzerhaubitzen 2000 howitzers from the reserves of the Bundeswehr.
