Ukraine has imposed sanctions against Russia’s nuclear industry

Restrictions against a number of Russian companies from the nuclear industry have been introduced for 50 years.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Sunday, February 5, approved the National Security and Defense Council’s decision to impose sanctions against Russia’s nuclear industry. This is confirmed by the relevant order of the head of state.

• autonomous non-profit organization Corporate Academy of the State Corporation Rosatom;

• joint-stock company Rusatom Healthcare;

The following sanctions will be imposed on a number of Russian companies for 50 years: blocking of assets, restriction of trade operations, termination of transit of resources through the territory of Ukraine, cancellation of all licenses, prohibition of participation in privatization or lease. of state property.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on this step of Ukraine in his evening address.

“Today our state has another sanction step against a terrorist state. The decision of the National Security and Defense Council on sanctions against the Russian nuclear industry has been implemented. And this is not the last decision on this industry,” the emphasis is on the president.

Recall that the tenth package of EU sanctions against Russia provides various restrictions against the Russian Federation for a total of 10 billion euros.
