Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov called on Ukrainians to trust only the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with information regarding the situation at the front and a possible Russian offensive, and not be subjected to panic attacks.
This was discussed today, February 5, during Reznikov’s press conference, ArmyInform reports.
Many wrote in the telegram that there would be an attack at night. No attack took place. It is necessary to listen to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. No, there are no shock groups near Chernigov or Kharkov. No need to succumb to various panic stuffing, he stressed.
At the same time, he added that the Russian offensive is indeed expected, and urged Ukrainians to believe in the border guards, the National Guard and the Defense Forces.
We expect the Russians to attack, they love symbolism. We are ready, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are ready, the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief is in control, everyone is ready to fight back, we are building up strength. We are preparing with partners in the supply of weapons, as they gave and will give, – the minister emphasized.
Reznikov also noted that the invaders are trying to put pressure on the change of tactics, they are storming the defense line in small assault groups, sparing neither the mobilized nor the convicts.
