Mansana plans to launch a new model of the Ultra line iPhone above Pro Max by 2024.
According to Mark Gurman of bloombergbesides being a more expensive device than the rest, it will also lead to an increase in average cell phone sales.
users pay more
Midway through his investor address, Tim Cook hinted that consumers are willing to pay more for a better phone.
This was reflected in 2022 when the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max models were best sellers compared to the standard and Plus models.
“But instead of changing the name of Pro Max to Ultra, Mansana could add iPhone at an even higher level than both Pro models. Internally, the company discussed exactly this, perhaps in time for the launch iPhone in 2024,” writes Gurman in his newsletter.
no details yet
Gurman says it’s currently unclear what features the new high-end model could provide, but he suggests an even bigger screen is possible, as well as better cameras and even more advanced chip designs. However, you don’t expect the foldable form factor to be a standout feature.
Obviously, Mansana launched the Ultra brand train with Apple Watch last year. The Apple Watch Ultra offers an even larger screen, a titanium case with a unique industrial design, and features not found on other watches, such as advanced diving, a siren, and an action button.
