Leopard 2 is flying to Ukraine from Canada – minister

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that Canada has carried out the supply to Ukraine of four Leopard 2 main battle tanks from the stocks of the Canadian Armed Forces.

The first Canadian Leopard 2 is on its way to Ukraine. This was announced by Canada’s Minister of National Defense, Anita Anand.

“Today, a Royal Canadian Air Force aircraft took off from Halifax with the first Leopard 2 main battle tank that Canada is sending to Ukraine. Canada stands with the people of Ukraine – and we will continue to supply the Ukrainian Armed Forces of the necessary equipment for success,” said the minister.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that Canada has carried out the supply to Ukraine of four Leopard 2 main battle tanks from the stocks of the Canadian Armed Forces.

Earlier it was reported that Canada officially announced the transfer of Leopard2 tanks to Ukraine.
