It became known when the “black box” from a helicopter that crashed near a kindergarten in Brovary will be deciphered.
We understand that during such events, information from the “black boxes” is very important. I know that our law enforcement officers are already working together with their French colleagues. I hope that in about a week, a maximum of two, the “black box” will still be deciphered, and after that we will be able to get acquainted with the highest priority version in more detail, – said the head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Law Enforcement, Serhiy Ionushas, on the air of the telethon.
The People’s Deputy added that now the most likely versions of the tragedy are pilot error and a technical malfunction of the helicopter. However, the possibility of sabotage is not ruled out.
Recall that at about 8.20 on January 18 in Brovary, Kyiv region, a helicopter fell on the territory of a kindergarten, a fire broke out in the building. There were nine people on board: three crew members and representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, including Minister Denis Monastyrsky, his first deputy Yevgeny Yenin and Secretary of State Lubkovich. They all died. Also killed and injured were children who were being taken to kindergarten that morning by their parents. The speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ignat, said that it was one of the French-made helicopters that the partners handed over to Ukraine. The SBU considered three versions of the crash: a violation of flight rules, a technical malfunction of the helicopter, and deliberate actions to destroy it.
