The explosion of an anti-personnel mini-petal in Izyum injured seven teenagers, and another “participant in the incident” suffered psychological trauma. The incident occurred over the past 24 hours, when the Russian occupation troops shelled the settlements of the Chuguevsky, Kupyansky and Kharkov regions of the region.
In Kupyansk, the infrastructure of a civil enterprise was damaged. In the village of Dvuhletnaya, a direct hit was recorded on an apartment on the second floor of a residential building. Private houses and outbuildings were also damaged. There were no casualties, – said the head of the Kharkiv OVA Oleg Sinegubov.
He also added that according to updated information from the regional center for emergency medical care, eight teenagers were injured as a result of an anti-personnel mine explosion in Izyum. Medics found shrapnel wounds in seven children. One girl has a psychological trauma – an acute reaction to stress.
Deputy Mayor of Izyum Vladimir Matsokin said earlier that three boys and five girls aged 14-17 were involved in the incident.
The condition of the victims is mild, their lives are not in danger. However, all the children were hospitalized in the Kharkiv hospital for further examination, Sinegubov said.
