The Security Service of Ukraine published an exclusive video of the exchange of prisoners, which took place on Saturday, February 4. 116 defenders returned to Ukraine.
“This is the result of the work of the Joint Center for Coordinating the Search and Release of Prisoners of War, which followed the decision of the Coordinating Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War,” the SBU said in a statement.
It will be remembered that the Office of the President spoke earlier about the return of prisoners to Ukraine. According to OP leader Andriy Yermak, among those released were the defenders of Mariupol, partisans from Kherson, snipers from the Bakhmut direction and other heroes.
Earlier, another 50 soldiers were released from captivity by the Russian Federation. In addition, 106 civilians were recently reported to have returned from captivity in Russia.
