Totalitarian North Korea is preparing to send several hundred people to the so-called DPR and LPR, annexed by Russia.
In January, the North Korean government instructed companies affiliated with the country’s defense ministry to recruit young people between the ages of 19 and 27 among employees.
The South Korean edition of Daily NK assumes that the invaders will send military and policemen to the Ukrainian Donbas. However, they will allegedly be engaged in restoration work in war-torn cities. The military and police, according to the publication, are easier to control than civilians.
According to the publication, the order was received by the companies Cholhyon Construction and Kumrung Construction, associated with the Ministry of Defense of the DPRK.
North Koreans must be married in order for their family members to stay in the country – this will allegedly help to avoid desertion among those sent.
Daily NK estimates that the first batch of 300-500 people will leave for Ukraine at the end of February or March.
