Released in 1967, “Mowgli: The Wolf Boy” is known for being the last animated film produced by walt disney. The plot, which is based on the book by Rudyard Kiplingtells the story of Mowgli, a boy raised by wolves who starts to not feel accepted in the forest, and decides to seek safety in civilization after being convinced by his friend, the panther Bagheera.
Along the way in search of the world of humans, the boy ends up meeting several characters on his journey, such as the orangutan King Louie, the hypnotizing snake Kaa, and the fearsome tiger Shere Khan, who has always made his enormous contempt for humans clear. But where did so much anger come from?

The live-action inspired by “Mowgli: The Wolf Boy”, released in 2016 by Disney, gives the answer to this question asked by many fans right at the first meeting between the Bengal tiger and the protagonist.
In the scene, Shere Khan argues with Akela, leader of the pack in which the boy is part, where he states that humans are forbidden in the forest, even if they are puppies, since “a man’s cub becomes a man, and men are forbidden”.
During their argument, the tiger reminds the wolves of what a grown man can do by showing his face scarred by hunters, and promises to eliminate Mowgli to prevent him from growing up and following the destiny of his species.
With the threat, Mogli ends up being forced to leave the pack, and begins an adventure alongside Bagheera and the adorable bear Baloo in search of a human village to ensure his safety, but ends up encountering new challenges along the way.
The live-action version of “Mowgli: The Wolf Boy” stars neel sethi, ben kingsley, Bill Murray, Idris Elba, Scarlett Johansson, Christopher Walken, Lupita Nyong’o It is Giancarlo Espositowith the direction of Jon Favreau. The film is available for streaming on disney+. Remember the trailer!
