Seven employees of the Danish embassy must leave the Russian Federation within two weeks due to “openly anti-Russian policy”, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Russia has declared seven employees of the Danish embassy persona non grata and ordered them to leave the country within two weeks. This was announced on Thursday, May 5, by the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
“On May 5, the Ambassador of Denmark to the Russian Federation, K. Søndergaard, summoned the Russian Foreign Ministry, which strongly protested in connection with the unfair announcement by the Copenhagen official on April 5 of the persona non grata of 15 employees of the Russian Embassy in Denmark and the Russian Trade Representation in Copenhagen, as well as the provision of the Danish authorities for military assistance to Kyiv.On the Russian side, it was noted that the kingdom’s openly anti-Russian policy causes serious damage to bilateral relations, “said the message.
It will be recalled that Denmark resumed the work of its embassy in Ukraine, which was closed after the Russian invasion.
