The head of state held an operational meeting with local authorities and the military on the current situation in southern Ukraine.
President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived on a working visit to the Mykolaiv region and held a meeting on the current situation in the region. This was reported on the website of the head of state on Monday, January 30.
It is indicated that the leadership of the Nikolaev region, the command of the operational group Kherson, as well as the heads of law enforcement agencies of the Nikolaev region took part in the meeting.
“Participants discussed the operational situation in southern Ukraine, the consequences of Russian missile and drone attacks. In this context, the issues of the current state of the region’s energy infrastructure, its protection methods and the speed of recovery is taken into account,” the report said.
The restoration of educational institutions in the Nikolaev region was also discussed. In addition, the participants of the meeting discussed the issues of short-term and long-term economic recovery of the region and job creation.
Recall that on January 11, Zelensky came on a visit to Lviv. There he held a coordination meeting, where the situation on the border with Belarus was discussed.
Later that day, in Lvov, Zelensky met with the presidents of Poland and Lithuania, Andrzej Duda and Gitanas Nauseda.
