Macron promised to increase aid to Ukraine – media

Emmanuel Macron promised to increase support for Ukraine through the transfer of weapons and humanitarian aid.

French President Emmanuel Macron, in a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, promised to strengthen aid to Ukraine. This was reported by the channel BFMTV, citing sources.

It noted that Macron “promised to increase support through arms transfer and humanitarian aid.”

“Our support for military equipment will continue. France has already sent humanitarian aid to Ukraine, including more than 615 tons of equipment,” the French president wrote on Twitter.

It will be recalled that on April 30, Zelensky and Macron had a telephone conversation.

And on May 3, Macron called on Russian President Vladimir Putin. He asked Putin “to allow the evacuation to proceed from the territory of the Azovstal plant.
