On the evening of January 25, the Russian invaders launched a missile attack on Kherson, as a result of which a fire broke out on the Tuzla cargo ship flying the Turkish flag.
This is reported by the Turkish media. This information was also confirmed by Reuters, citing shipping safety company Ambrey.
A video has also surfaced on social media, likely showing a fire on the ship.

According to the Turkish edition of TGRT, the fire broke out in the wheelhouse of the ship. At this time, no one from the crew was on board, so no one was injured.
It is noted that Tuzla was operated by Cayeli Shipping and since February 2022 cannot leave the port of Kherson. This is one of 12 Turkish ships that are stuck in Ukrainian ports due to a full-scale Russian invasion and are not covered by the Black Sea grain trade agreement.
There was an attack, most likely on the port, and it looks like the explosive charge hit the ship. Turkish vessels in Kherson are equipped with a skeleton of the crew, so there are no injuries or casualties, the source of the agency said on condition of anonymity.
