“What the hell is the West waiting for?” – so the ex-prime minister of Great Britain called his article in the country’s largest newspaper. Boris Johnson published an appeal to the Western world after his next visit to Ukraine.
Last weekend, the ex-prime minister met with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and visited Bucha and Borodianka, where the Russian army committed brutal massacres of civilians.
On January 24, Johnson published an article in the Daily Mail urging the West to begin deliveries of tanks to Ukraine. The largest edition of the country put the announcement of this material on the first page.
Stand with me next to the blackened remains of an apartment building in Borodianka, twisted wiring and broken children’s toys. See what one of Putin’s 500-kilogram bombs can do to an eight-story building. Try to meet the pleading eyes of the people who pulled the bodies out of the rubble and searched for 28 whose remains were never found. Look at these brave Ukrainians and answer my question: what the hell are we waiting for? says Boris Johnson’s column.
Why should we be afraid to provoke him [путіна]when he has already shown what he will do without any reason? Johnson writes.
Recall, on January 22, Johnson, whose new visit was discussed at the beginning of 2023, unexpectedly arrived in Bucha, and in the evening, together with Vladimir Zelensky, met with students of the KNU. Taras Shevchenko.
