President Zelensky on the eve announced personnel changes that will take place in ministries and other structures.
The former head of the Kyiv regional military administration, Oleksiy Kuleba, was appointed deputy head of the President’s Office. This was confirmed by the decree of the President of Ukraine, published on Tuesday, January 24.
“To appoint Aleksey Vladimirovich Kuleba as Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine,” the document said.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky the day before in his evening speech on January 23 announced personnel changes in ministries, structures of central and regional authorities, as well as in the law enforcement system.
According to him, some of these personnel decisions are “today, and some are tomorrow.” At the same time, the head of state did not specify which officials he was talking about.
Alexey Kuleba was born in 1983 in Kiev.
He graduated from Kyiv National Economic University with a degree in International Economics and holds a Master’s degree in International Economics.
From January to June 2005, he worked as a manager of KP Kyiv-media of the Kyiv Regional Council, was an assistant to a people’s representative.
From December 2010 to December 2011 he taught at the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management.
From May 2014 to October 2015, he was an assistant to a deputy of the Kyiv City Council.
From October 2016 to August 2017, Alexey Kuleba was an adviser to the general director of Kyiv KP Pleso.
In November 2019, he became the director of the improvement department of the KSCA.
Since 2021, he has been the deputy head of Kyiv City State Administration Vitaliy Klitschko.
He headed the Kyiv region in February 2022. In mid-March, General Alexander Pavlyuk was appointed to this position.
In May 2022, Kuleba again became the head of Kyiv OVA.
